Our Story


Finding a good job with a good company is hard nowadays. Really hard.
Gone are the days where you graduated school - highschool or college - and you could apply to ten companies and get back replies from at least half of them and interviews with at least two.

Now, when you get online and search, most of the high paying jobs are hidden behind dozens and sometimes hundreds of reposts by recruiters and staffing agencies. The sheer volume is impossible to dig through to find the actual company who is doing the hiring.

After spending years having another 30% and 35% of the cost of our labor going to someone else (that is before they even take out taxes!), working through a third party is just not an option for us anymore.

And after struggling for months to find real jobs listed on all the big job aggregation sites, we gave up on trying to use them.

We just wanted a list of actual jobs posted by actual companies that were open to hiring directly.

We didn't need any fancy widgets rating jobs or employers. We have all been on shopping sites and know the value of reviews these days.
Nor did we need them to tell us how much a certain type of job should pay according to all kinds of industry measures. We already had an idea of what we are worth based on actual work we had already done.

And so, not finding what we were looking for, we set about making a list on our own.

And guessing we were not the only ones struggling with this, we are sharing the list here, with you. For free - completely. No strings attached. No subscriptions. We don't ask for any of your information, personal or otherwise. Just a list, sitting out here on the web for you to use. With our best wishes.

Our Mission

The mission of minu$ the middleman™ is to connect real people with real job opportunities minus the extra steps and costs of dealing with a middleman.

We are all about the DIY!

Our goal is to help job seekers take control of their own job search, their own information, and ultimately keep the full share of what they earn. Our intention in creating the minu$ the middleman™ website is to list jobs directly from the hiring companies (or their internal staffing agent) so that job seekers may easily filter through jobs and know they are submitting their information to an appropriate decision maker.

We, at minu$ the middleman™, acknowledge there is a place and need for recruiters. But searching for employment through their process is costly, both financially and through loss of control and transparency.

Our focus is the on the needs of job seekers that have consciously decided they are their own best representative and advocate. It is this type of worker this site is hoping to advance in the job market and it is this type of self-motivated employee that we are sure businesses would prefer to hire.

The team at minu$ the middleman™ actively verifies the job postings listed on our website to ensure that each listing will connect job searchers directly with the job posting at the company that is sourcing the job or with their confirmed internal staffing agent.

We feel that by submitting resumes and information directly to an employer, applicants can feel confident that they are represented with accurate unmodified data in a manner that reflects them correctly. This also allows them to maintain control of the type and amount of information transmitted to potential employers, including personal information and identifiers.

Most importantly, direct applicants will have transparency to any responses received and any negotiations that may take place. No ghosting by recruiters. No wondering if there was follow-up or feedback.
